Advent57
Hello, I have just upgraded my SLI setup to 2 x Nvidia GTX 275s, it says on the box that each card requires 550w so if i bought a HX 1000 will i be under powered or does the 550w that they state only apply to one card? Will two cards need 1100w? Thankyou Advent57
FEAR6655
HX1000 is more than enough, in fact you could easily run 3 cards. 550w minimum is what the PSU should be rated for when using the card in a system, actual card power requirement is about 200w, so 750w for 2 cards and 950w for 3 cards. Yellowbeard
Hello, I have just upgraded my SLI setup to 2 x Nvidia GTX 275s, it says on the box that each card requires 550w That's the total system power requirement, not the amount for each card.
