OC-Freak
Hi, I recently bought two pairs of Corsair Dominator GT 4Gb sets for my new computer build. http://www.komplett.no/k/ki.aspx?sku=494399 these to be specific. My system booted and worked fine, but I sometimes have the odd bluescreen I'm trying to find the cause of, so far indications is the memory as some of the messages refers to "the memory could not be "write"". More testing is to follow. Setup: Gigabyte P55-UD3R mainboard Core i7 860 Memory currently manually adjusted to 7-7-7-20 and 1.64V, memory speed is at 1528MHz so below rated 1600MHz. Seasonic 850Watt PSU. While checking various settings I noticed that one of the memory sticks are identified differently in CPU ID. Three sticks are identified as CMG4GX3M2A1600C7, fourth stick is identified as CM3X2G1333C9D. Is this normal? Both sets came in sealed boxes and stickers on the memory modules seems to be correct.
