russ23
TWIN2X4096-8500C5D G This is my Cut & Pasted from me, on another forum that was helping me trouble shoot my problem. May have found the problem, maybe?? This going to be a quick version, if ya want more info I'll try to give it. I cleared the BIOS, put back in my settings. Still had same boot problems, random beeps, random loads ok, random loads and everything is ok. This has been going on for months. This enough to drive ya crazy, on the first go around in April, I ran the cpu tests, the mem test, and what ever else that you guys suggested. They all passed. The bootup & run problem was totally random, no pattern, just lock up and die with bsod. I pulled one ram stick out, rebooted, booted up ok, cool. Replaced with that one in slot 1 with the one in slot 2, NO go, it beeped about 18-20 times. Pulled ram 2 out of slot 1, put ram 1 back in everything is ok. I have Never had a problem with ram in 20 + years, looks like I have one now. And I never over clocked it, I just want a stable system that I do not have fool with. Now what should I do, the ram is less than a year old? end of c&p If you want a link to the whole thread let me know. Thanx
russ23
Do I need to get permission from The Ram Guy to fill out a RMA form? I was going to fill one out but not quite sure what I need, or what to put in there. Thanx
Wired
If you don't, they may ask the same questions during the RMA process, that's all.
