He is not going to say yes when he hasn't tested the cables, makes Corsair liable and then everybody would be mixing and matches cables. If I where you I'd do a resistance check between the two cables, if they are the same or very close then what can it hurt? Oh yea BEST make sure each wire goes to the same spot on each connector!
