I ordered 2 modules of CORSAIR DOMINATOR 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Triple Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model TR3X6G1600C8D - Retail and neweggs offers this

CORSAIR DOMINATOR 12GB (6 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CMD12GX3M6A1600C8 - Retail (as a matched set)

My question is how can I tell if my modules are actually a matched memory set? I guess I typoed when ordering but I think having your memory matched is important isnt it?

Ok I can not figure this out. I have bought

I have bought 2 units of these to make 12 gb

However this is what I should have bought. It is 12gb with the same rating.

But for some reason they are out of stock

But they do have this in stock... it is a slightly different rating, but is a matched set. Can someone tell me which memory I should buy or should I just keep the memory I have... I am tired of trying to find the answer. I have 2 unmatched sets of 6mb with the 8,8,8,24 lay..

Please help!

So what does this mean. I need to RMA the sets I have back to get a matched set. Also the two set from new egg are slightly different with one set on back order. the 8-8-8-24 is on back order while the 9-9-9-24 is in stock. Is there a difference in these two packages.. Or shoudl I just stick in my 2 packs of 8-8-8-24 and see if they work? I think both sets are 1600 memory modules.
