Olonese
cpu 3.825GHz(425x9) and ram 1700MHz ? I use 8GB ram CM3X2048-1600DHX with timings 8 -Synk and Link- and the settings above are the upper limit. Of course I'll check both of them with my games but if you give me your opinion I'll appreciate. thanks, bye
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 14, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 14, 2009 As long as the system is stable you should be good to go.
Olonese
In gaming is better to run cpu 4Ghz and ram 1600 MHz. Bad idea to low cpu to 3.825Ghz and rising ram to 1700 MHz. Do you think that cpu and its FSB is a bottleneck for these rams with timing 8(8GB) ? Thanks to anyone who adds his opinion.
Krlly
The higher cpu speed will be way better hands down, ram speed and timings are negligible in comparison to a faster processor ;):
