JonathanD
Hi I would like to know if the TWIN2X4096-6400C5DHX modules are compatible with the Intel DG43GT (Gold Tree) Board. The board is not listed on the Compatibility Tool. I have however seen that the modules are compatible with the other 4series chipset Intel boards that support DDR2-800 RAM. According to the Compatibility Tool, the modules are compatible with the following Intel boards: DP43TF DG43NB DG45ID DG45FC Would it then be safe to assume that the modules will be compatible with the Gold Tree board? Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 16, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 16, 2009 As long as it support DDR800 memory with 256 MB IC's then yes they should run great.

JonathanD
NP Please let me know if you have any more questions! I probably should have asked this earlier :o: What does the 256MB IC refer to? I guessed it had something to do with the dual capabilities of the board, but I would rather like to be certain. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 21, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 21, 2009 It has to do with the Specific Memory IC we used to build the memory module and would be a 256 Meg density. IE 256M X 8 IC's = 2048 Meg Byte

IE 256M X 8 IC's = 2048 Meg Byte I see. Thank you for explaining that. It seems that there won't be any compatibility issues :D:
