Hi,

I have 2 x 2Gb CMG4GX3M2A2000C8 and a asus maximus III formula with a core i7 860.

Without overclocking of CPU, he's impossible to pass with success to DDR-2000Mhz 8-8-8-24-2N with DDR voltage @ 1.65v => BSOD, or no post bios.

DIMM A1/B1

With one 2Gb CMG4GX3M2A2000C8 with DDR voltage @ 1.85v + QPI @ 1.4v, it's ok, no error, stable !

But two 2Gb CMG4GX3M2A2000C8 with DDR voltage @ 1.85v + QPI @ 1.4v, it's ko => BSOD, freezing approximately 2 minutes.

Yet you confirm that it works. How?

I'm afraid to test with a higher voltage of DDR. warrantly?

I think your QPI voltage is set to low try 1.5v or 1.6v if you want them to work at spec I had same trouble with same ram and some gskills they would not work at 1.35 at all but at 1.6 I can reach 2000Mhz but my processor has problem reaching 4Ghz so I have downclocked to 3.6ghz and now have 12GB at 1.5QPI the gskills would not boot and would blue screen at lower QPI. If you notice when setting xmp Corsair puts QPI at 1.6V.
