baboyizm
Just picked up the motherboard and cpu today. Now I need new ram. There are so many options in the memory compatibility list for ddr3 boards that my head hurts. With the older intel and amd systems it was so much easier to decide on memory. I won't be overclocking until I get a better cooling option, but would like to. Any feedback for my particular set up is appreciated. baboyizm
I have narrowed it down to 4 sets of ram. Is 1.65V and Intel XMP a must for my particular setup? 1. CMD4GX3M2A1600C8 2. CMD4GX3M2B1600C8 3. TW3X4G1600C9D 4. TW3X4G1600C9DHX
Wired
TW3X4G1600C9D(HX) shouldn't be listed. It needs more voltage than is safe for a Core i5/7 system. Stick with one of the first 2 packs.
