Dcyple
TWIN2X4096-8500C5D Ram was running rock solid at 1066 5-5-5-15 went to 8gig, and system would not boot. So I took out the added 4g and now I can not get original 4g back to the 1066 5-5-5-15 that it was running at prior to the upgrade? My System is now stuck at 800 5-5-5-18 2T and it is unstable. For example can no longer run COD for any length of time and I am also experiencing random boot issues. I just read the voltage difference's of 1.1 and 2.1 versions. I did not know of the version voltage differences prior to install, I need the specific settings for my Crosshair formula ll MB. Can someone please help me out. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 15, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 15, 2009 With 4 modules I would suggest setting the memory frequency at DDR667 and set the memory Voltage to 2.1 Volts and set the NB/MCH/SPP Voltage to +.2 Volts as well and test the system with http://www.memtest.org. In addition, with some MB's (Mostly ASUS) you have to disable legacy USB in the bios when running any memory test.
