Again Voyager 16GB GT

Recommended Posts

First sorry for the bad language, is so frustrating this is the second USB FLASH VOYAGER GT, and again this new one don't work anymore it just stop working while creating a new folder, yes just a simply task like creating a new folder. How is this possible? Is the USB FLASH VOYAGER GT, not able to create new folders.

Now the drive appears for half a second, vanishes for two seconds, and repeats over and over again.

Now I'm completed ****ed I have spend all the weekend working I have complete lost everything for the second time, and I do not have any backup.

I’m wondering what kind of bad products CORSAIR is selling. This is the most expensive USB PEN that I ever bought I have other USB PEN from other brand that still works after spend 15 days on a washer machine.

After spend some time here reading the forum posts I have notice that there are hundreds of complains with this Voyager GT.

It is indeed a bad product, and CORSAIR knows it and the only thing they do is replace for a new one. And just keep selling this bad product. Why they don't simply remove it from the market? Is it so cheap to keep replacing this USB Voyager GT?

For me it’s done CORSAIR never more just can’t trust CORSAIR products to store and transport information.

How do I recover my files, I have throw the USB FLASH VOYAGER GT against my bedroom wall but still doesn’t work, what about using a hammer?

I’m simply ****ed for the second time, I don’t want to replace the USB FLASH VOYAGER GT for a third one I really want my money back, I want to buy another trusted brand!

We can replace the drive for you, however we do not offer any type of data recovery software or services. If the data is important then you may want to review the article here: http://www.corsair.com/_appnotes/AN803_CommonIssues_HelpfulTips_DLoss_DCorruption.pdf. for some data recovery advise. You may also want to check out websites such as http://www.download.com and http://www.softpedia.com and search for "USB Data Recovery," to see if you can find some freeware/shareware that may help you recover the data. If all else fails then you may need to contact a local data recovery service center to find out if the data is recoverable.

Best thing we can offer is a replacement and not a refund.

Please contact our customer service at 888-222-4346 and dial "0", (510) 657-8747 or email rmaservice@corsairmemory.com for further questions about this issue.

WTF, is this a joke? I did mention that when I connect the Voyager 16GB GT in the USB port it appears for half a second in the Windows Explorer, after two seconds it vanishes, and repeats over and over again.

How do I recover my data, if I'm not able to plug and see the driver? Is there any miracle?

What kind of support is this the only thing you do is replace bad Voyager 16GB GT with another bad Voyager 16GB GT. I hope the Voyager 16GB GT stock finish's soon and CORSAIR remove this from the market and stop to harm people with the excellent product reviews, and at the end thy simply don't work.

I know the CORSAIR sales thousands of memories all over the world, so I'm one in a million, what CORSAIR cares it just another stupid customer. I did pay 66€ for it and for me its money I'm not rich.

I have contacted the seller where I did buy the Voyager 16GB GT for a refund this is what I get as an answer.

Dear Customer,

We inform that in this case, the customer could make the devolution of the product in the period of 15 days. Sadly this stated period as already passed, we cannot proceed with the product refund. The Pixmania is thankful for the confidence and waits your visit in our site http://www.pixmania.com.

I'm really ****ed, and I have to stuck with the must expensive PEN that I ever bought, and I can't use it because I can't take the risk to lose again my data while creating a simple windows folder.

I already have an RMA to replace it and hopefully I will receive a new Voyager 16GB GT.

In this case we cannot assist on how to recover the files if the information above does not help. Possibly take it to a local recovery shop. We will be glad to replace the drive for you.

Let's get it replaced, please use the On Line RMA Request Form and we will be happy to replace it. Be sure to check the box that says “I've already spoken to Technical Support and/or RAM Guy.”
