4FR
Hi Everyone, Today I got my 64 GB Flash Voyager and wanted to copy some of my pictures for backup on it (41GB) from my macbook pro. First of all I was really astonished that copying 41GB takes 5h (!!!) hours. Is that possible??? After about 20min MAC OS gave any error that it couldn't copy a file. Since then I can't access the stick anymore on my Macbook Pro. I checked the Windows Manager and I can see it but can't change the letter, nor format it or do anything....it always gives some "snap-ins" error.... Here a screenshot of my manager: http://www.4FR.de/USB.jpg Any suggestions and help !? Thanks Nils
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted October 5, 2009 Corsair Employee Share Posted October 5, 2009 Please use the Format Utility for HC Flash Drives 64 Gig and Larger and then try it again on your MAC, and the max file size for fat32 is 2.0 Gig. 4FR
I tried the Utility but it doesn't find the USB Stick in the drop down menu. I can only see it in the manager of my first post. http://4fr.de/USB2.jpg
