Dettox
Hi people, I am planning to buy this memory and I saw in corsair's site this memory and it says that is SLI-Ready, i asked to some sellers and i got many answers, exemples: "this memory ins't SLI-Ready", "All models of corsair dominator that run at 1066 is SLI-Ready". I got a bit confused... Can some give me a real answer ?
Wired
They have EPP profiles if that's what you mean. That SLI-Ready stuff for products aside from motherboards and video cards is marketing hogwash. Memory's not even listed on the site: http://www.slizone.com/object/slizone_ecosystem.html The memory's fully compatible with your motherboard: Guaranteed-Compatible Memory for your Asus Striker II Formula
Dettox
Thanks man, then if i buy this memory i have the same performance of the "SLI-Ready" memorys right ? Another question, the model twin2x4096-8500c5d have EPP profiles ?
Wired
The performance has nothing to do with the "SLI-Ready" marketing label. It has nothing to do with the design of the memory. That's the same part number (F = FAN).
