SergioCR
Hello, Ok, I have a gaming rig (still growing up): C2Q Q9300 @ stock speed (as soon as I get my power supply I'm gonna O.C it) Gygabyte GA-EP45T-UD3LR Mobo (Maybe gonna be changed next year for some SLI or Crossfire X) Cooler Master V8 Heatsink Corsair XM3 1333Mhz RAM ******** nVidia 9600GT (going to be upgraded to a ATI 5870 or a GTX 300 Series) 2x250GB HDD (going to add a 1TB HDD) 1xDVD burner a couple of case fans Now... The thing is, I want a 850W power supply I've been thinking about the 850TX (cause I don't wanna spend the much money just cause maybe I'll have to change it later) My motherboard comes with an old 4pin connector and the 20+4 pin connector, I've seen A LOT of pictures of the 850TX provided wires and I just can't see the 4pin connector. Can someone tell me if that power supply actually comes with the 4pin connector? or its a must to get a modular power supply? PD: I'm looking for some power supply with both connectors (4pin and 8 pin for the mobo) Thanks!
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted September 29, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted September 29, 2009 850TX has one 8pin ATX12 that can be splitted into two 4pins, you can use either of the 4pins.
