Martin Palmieri
Hi guys I'm gonna be building 2 boxes before Christmas and as always, I will go with Corsair. The mobos will most probably be Asus P7P55D, processors i7 860. Keywords are: performance and stability and have one question: The Corsair Memory Configurator suggests an 8GB Kit: CMX8GX3M4A1600C9 and it looks like it has good timings but, what about this part: CMD8GX3M4A1600C8? Timings look a little better: 8-8-8-24-2T Which one would you suggest? Many thanks in advance Martin
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted September 29, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted September 29, 2009 Either set would be a good choice but Cas 8 would be faster than Cas 9 so go with the Cas 8 part.

Many thanks, Ram guy. The price difference between the two parts is very small. I'll go with the faster modules.
