vingrhymes84
Hi, I recently bought 2 16Gb flash voyager flash drives (one for me and one for my girlfriend) and one doesn't work at all and one stopped the second time I used it. I've tryed on several computers in all available USB ports and they just won't work. What can I do?

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted September 30, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted September 30, 2009 What kind of system are you running the flash drive on?
Klirre
I've tried several computers, all with Windows XP (home and pro) SP2 (maybe 3 on one) I plug it into the usb-port, the drive pops up and everything seems to work fine. until I tried to move a file to the drive. then they both went crazy, connecting, showing the content of the drive, then it disappears, unplugs the reappears over and over again. forgot to mention that my 2 year old Flash Voyager 8GB (standard, blue one) works fine, and so does my sisters usb flash drive. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 1, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 1, 2009 Not sure why this could be happening. Format the drive with the SD-CARD Organization. format utility and then run HD-Bench software to test the performance. Let me know the results! See if this corrects the issue. Klirre
The problem is that I can't format it, since it disappears and reappears on "My Computer" all the time, and the whole computer "lags" a lot before it disappears again. it's only a matter of seconds that the drive is active, so I'm not able to do anything at all with it.
