Motherboard: ABIT KV8-MAX quantity 1-CMX512-4400PT quantity 2-CMX512-4000PT I can make this motherboard boot with 2 CMX512-4000PT. But the motherboard cannot run the CMX512-4400PT at DDR400. If I change the type to DDR333, it boots. However, I ran some memory test and it gives, IRQ_LESS_THAN_EQUAL (something like that) error message. Can I use this configuration? In general, can memory modules run below their specification speed? What voltages or latencies should I use? Can I run two different module like this? I just accepted the bioses setting from DDR333. But if I need to change them, I would welcome the right settings to use. Thanks.

This module would not really be a good choice for this MB, I would suggest Twinx1024-3200LL or one CMX1024-3200. With these modules XMS4000 or XMS4400 you may have to run the timings at Cass 3-4-4-8!
