Markus Posted September 25, 2009 Share Posted September 25, 2009 Hi. I just add another pair of memory sticks like the one i allready have (2*1Gb DDR2 800Mhz PC2-6400 CAS4). In total i have 4 sticks of 1Gb on my striker extreme board. my first pair worked great in dual channels, but with the new ones my PC doesnt boot, and just hangs at startup. only when i plug the sticks not in dual slots my PC loads normaly. after checking (CPU-Z, MEMTEST, MEMTEST82) theres no errors with the sticks or the slots. Vista performence score (with 4 sticks) is lower then it used to be with only one pair in dual. Can anybody help ? My PC works fine with 4 sticks, its just isnt in dual channel, and i guess im just not using the best config for performence. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted September 29, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted September 29, 2009 With 4 modules I would suggest setting the memory frequency at DDR667 and set the memory Voltage to 2.1 Volts and set the NB/MCH/SPP Voltage to +.2 Volts as well and test the system with http://www.memtest.org.
