YCH
I'm thinking of getting a new USB drive but small file read and write performance is important to me. I hate how some USB drives are great at transferring huge files, but totally suck at transferring a bunch of small office documents. I'm willing to take a hit on huge file transfers so that small files don't choke the USB drive to death. For example, in this old review, the Voyager GT 4GB is actually quite decent: 32kB files have a write speed of about 4MB/s 512B files have a write speed of about 79kB/s http://www.everythingusb.com/corsair_flash_voyager_gt_4gb_12200.html What of Corsair's current USB drives? Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted September 28, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted September 28, 2009 We are sorry but we don’t provide performance spec’s for our flash drives. There are too many variables to give consistent results.
