Strascak
I have two issues number 2 is the main concern: Mobo is Asus P5Q 1. I was running CM2X2048-8500C5D for almost a year in dual channel with no problems. Sudddenly I started to get crashes. I ran memtest and found one mem stick had numerous errors. This is being handled via RMA. 2. I ordered one pair of CM2X2048-8500C5D as a replacement while waiting for the RMA. After installing the new memory. The MOBO won't post if both moduals are installed. I have tried different memory slots. I can run in single channel but not dual channel. Previosly I was running the original memory with everything in the Bios set to AUTO. One thing I have noticed while mem testing the new pair is that one stick tests at 533MHz (1066) while the other stick only tests at 333Mhz (666). Thanks in advance. Strascak
How long will a RMA number last? I can send the new set of memory back to Newegg.com. I need to keep this computer running even if its only one stick at single channel. I don't want to buy another pair while I wait for two RMA's to be sent back to me. Thanks Kevin
