Jacko_Ammerlaan
I am having a problem with GA-E7AUM-DS2H and TWIN2X4096-6400C5DHX. The setup (Windows) had a lot of BSOD (Stop 0x01a) which indicated a memory issue (HW of SW related). I started with a HW check (Memtest86) and one module. Let the test run for 1 hour (did 1 pass) and no errors found. Installed the second module (in dual mode, bank 1 & 3 filled). The system booted, MEMTEST86 started and within seconds the system rebooted. and MEMTEST386 started and rebooted .. (over and over).. Thinking I had found a faulty module I removed the already tested module and started the test again with the I thought faulty module.Let the test run for an hour, and no problem.. Installed the two module once more, now in single mode (bank 1 & 2 filled) and the system started rebooting again.. Did some more test used bank 3 & 4, Bank 1 & 4, no luck. With 2 modules the system reboots over and over. Any idea if this a MB or Memory error ?? I found this which indicated the somewhat the same issue : http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?p=15901286#post15901286 The system is now running a longer test on one the module..
