Sinny
Hello all.. well basicly, I get BSOD, boot problems and corrupt files.. but only when I boot in the morning (boot from a SSD corsair x64 extreme) when it's cold and early. As soon as everything starts to warm up after 10 minutes everything runs perfect again with no errors. I get 'Memory_Management' and 'System_Service_Exception' blue screens, now I have memtest'd all my RAM, all passed perfectly. I get random windows and other applications showing as 'corrupt' even though they run perfectly fine. Then everything runs fine after a few minutes I have checked my sata cables and power cables and reseated the RAM. Updated my graphics drivers to the latest. (sometimes the Nvidia drivers failed to load, when I check in device manager I get code 39 driver loading problem) Updated by BIOS to the latest Windows Vista 64 Bis is fully updated. Some applications don't install properly... Office, AVG, some games etc... I've reinstalled Windows and applied the updates carefully. My temps on my Cpu are 23-26 idle, and 31-35 under load. Nothing is overclocked I have tried booting with 1 stick, 2 sticks and 3 sticks of RAM, nothing makes any difference. So is this a faulty SSD? Is there any programs to test SSD's on without damaging them? I have searched but haven't found anything promising. Thank you for your time. IanJackson
I get the EXACT same thing from my P256 when running on a Dell M1210 laptop. I've given up and swapped it for an Intel SSD and have just started using the Corsair in my desktop which supports AHCI (which I figured might be where the laptop's going wrong). What's the specification of your system? Davyc
Trouble with BSODs is that there could be numerous problems that could be at the root of it. From the simplest - if you're running Norton, it could be that (has been known to cause these problems) to the more elaborate such as motherboard, cpu, memory (which you've tested) right down to the SSD. It's a matter of elimination - the easiest way to check your SSD is to put it in another system and if you get no problems then you need to look at other possibilites. Could be voltage, could be heat .... so many different avenues to explore. If your SSD works fine in another system you can eliminate that as being the cause and take your PC to a repair shop for diagnostics.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted September 21, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted September 21, 2009 I would agree, did you try and simplify your system and test like with only one memory module, if so did you have the same problems?
