2 sets of CMX4GX3M2A1600C8 on a GA-MA790FXT-UD5P

So i went to micro center to get some stuff and the CMX4GX3M2A1600C8 was the only decent memory left in stock. I bought 2 sets for a total of 4 2GB sticks.

First, Are the CMX4GX3M2A1600C8 supposed to be a XMS3 series or a Dominator series? I looked under the Dominator series and that part number shows up, but when i look at XMS3, it doesn't show up in the lineup... but the packaging is XMS3 (non-Dominator)

Second, the BIOS detects it as 9-9-9-24, so i have to change it to 8-8-8-24, but when i go to manual option, there are about 10 other settings it asks for and there's no auto options for those settings.

1T/2T Command Timing

Options are: 1T, 2T.

TwTr Command Delay

Options are: 1T~3T.

Trfc0 for DIMM1

Options are: 75ns, 105ns, 127.5ns, 195ns, 327.5ns.

Trfc2 for DIMM2

Options are: 75ns, 105ns, 127.5ns, 195ns, 327.5ns.

Trfc1 for DIMM3

Options are: 75ns, 105ns, 127.5ns, 195ns, 327.5ns.

Trfc3 for DIMM4

Options are: 75ns, 105ns, 127.5ns, 195ns, 327.5ns.

Write Recovery Time

Options are: 3T~6T.

Precharge Time

Options are: 2T, 3T.

Row Cycle Time

Options are: 11T~26T.

RAS to RAS Delay

Options are: 2T~5T.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I have 1 set of CMX4GX3M2A1600C8 on my PC (see specs). I keep the Bclk at 160 so the memory can run at 1600 MHz and the latencies are configured as 8-8-8-24. I have no problems whatsoever so I'm considering buying another set.

But let me get something straight. If I have 4 modules (2 sets of CMX4GX3M2A1600C8) the Bckl has to be 133 so I can keep the latencies 8-8-8-24? Or the Bckl at 160 and 9-9-9-24 latencies?

Thanks!
