poonj
I am using a HX750W power supply and one of the SATA modular cables is not long enough for it to reach the hard drives I have in my system. Where could I obtain a SATA modular cable extension? Jonathan
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted September 18, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted September 18, 2009 Most Computer stores will have extension cables but they would probably be 4 Pin molex to S-ATA
PCCstudent
Interesting,a Molex cable can be used with a adapter to power a SATA device. Corsair warns against using any cable but a Corsair,it is very good to get this OK to use cable extensions. I have been using Performance PC's to make me very pricey cable extensions and now I learn I could have bought them off the shelf. Performance PC's is a Corsair retailer and they know the product. When they make a cable it is done with a through understanding of what they are working with, not so sure with off the shelf cable extensions.
