bud01
I have 6Gb of dominator memory and purchased the fan which clips onto it and keeps it cool, it maybe overkill for a low 3.7ghz overclock of the core i7 but. Every time I switch my pc one of the fans makes a horible strunching sound, and I have to gentle just tap the centre of the fan making the noise in just a cetain way and it will dispear and will not return untill the next time I switch the machine back on again the next day. This has been some thing I have been meaning to post. I can try mounting it the other way round but expect it will happen again. Has any one else had this, and no there are no objects in the way and installation was perfect its not like you can butcher the installation up even if you wanted to, every thing looks perfect. Ideas, comments? Edit: Noise wise it is VERY loud, you could not work by it with the case pannel off as I do currently untill I upgrade to the 800d at the end of month. I have a digital camea which can take footage I beleive with sound so Ill try to do a feild report on it for ref.. bud

Wired
Ok, so you have TR3X6G1600C8D :) They're the loudest part of my build. Usually don't even have them plugged in. They run at 4000 RPM. You shouldn't have to tap it though. I'd RMA the fan kit.

curlysir
I use a fan controller to control the speed. Keep the fans around 3000 rpm and they are as quiet as the other fans on the system.
