Wharbandit Posted September 14, 2009 Share Posted September 14, 2009 I can get TWIN2X4096-8500C5C to boot pc but only running at 800mhz. The mainboard has option to increase frequency to 1066mhz. Printed on the Heat spreader shows the timing to be 5-6-6-18, but if i set this pc will not boot, and have to default bios. What am i doing wrong. Wharbandit Posted September 14, 2009 Author Share Posted September 14, 2009 Thanks for response, while waiting i have checked specs on intel site and the board only supports ddr2 800/667, i assumed the owner of the pc had checked this before bying the ram.
