thm655321
Here's a diagram of the stock airflow on the Cosmos S case that I have: http://tmoran.smugmug.com/photos/645099913_LaEhL-XL.jpg When installing the H50, to avoid heat back into the case my plan is to install the H50 exhausting out the leftmost of the top three exhaust fans. To feed fresh air to the H50 the upper rear exhaust will be flipped to an intake. And I also have 2 fans in the drive bay area that will be converted to exhaust to move the airflow across the case (from left to right in the above picture). Does this seem like a workable solution? Wired
Heat wants to rise, so you should set the back fan to intake and the top rear fan to exhaust. That'll make sure most (if not all) of the heat from the radiator will right up and out.
campbelln97
i would be tempted to use the bottom 120mm fan intake, and get a pipe/ducting up to the top exhaust directly above (the far right one).
rogue71
use the rear fan spot and set it to intake. remember, your current hsf produces heat...which you are now attempting to cool with warm case air. using room temp intake air to cool the rad and expell through the top should actually better temp wise. only thing id probly do is turn the top exhaust fans up a notch to balance the flow.
