scamartist
I am about to send back an HX620W as it has began to emit a high pitched whine. Is it possible to send back only the main power supply unit? This will save me from having to disconnect all my PC's wiring. Any info would be much appreciated.;):
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted September 9, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted September 9, 2009 That would be fine. Let's get it replaced, please use the On Line RMA Request Form and we will be happy to replace it. Be sure to check the box that says “I've already spoken to Technical Support and/or RAM Guy.”
scamartist
The RMA is already set up will add a note when I send it off saying that you said it was fine. Thanks.
Wired
If you already have an RMA number there's no reason to add the note.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted September 10, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted September 10, 2009 We would normally suggest you keep the modular cables and just send the PSU, so its no problem.
scamartist
Thats me only just got round to sending this, had to put up with the whining to get some work cleared before returning it. I have accidentally deleted my RMA emails. But have requested a new number etc this time I've quoted Ramguys post ID number. Is there any special packaging required for sending this back to Holland, Im in the UK. Thanks in advance. :o:
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted September 30, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted September 30, 2009 Just use the box it came in, if you do not have that BOX any box will do and I would use a box that has a snug fit and then put that box in a bigger box with some packing material.
