grez2002
Hi, Just fitted the Ram (2x 2gb dual channel) as in my spec to my HTPC and now and again it will boot up but usually it won't even run the bios. Have tried using only one stick at a time and this usually works but have seen the same problem with this setup aswell. Also when going from two sticks to one if it does boot the bios i get a red warning saying that the previous overclocking attempt has failed and defaults have been loaded. Just wondering if it is due to my ram bios settings due to my newer lower latency ram, any help would be much appreciated, new to pc modding. Cheers. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted September 11, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted September 11, 2009 Please make sure that you have the latest BIOS and then load setup defaults and set the tested settings for the specific modules you have and test them one at a time with http://www.memtest.org to be sure one is not failing.
