greg4
Hi, I have an Asus P5QPL-VM EPU motherboard with 2 x 1GB PC8500 DDR2 sticks (Corsair TWIN2X2048-8500C5D) supposed to run at 5-5-5-15 2T at 2.1V. When I set the correct voltage and timings manually in Bios - it won't POST. When I set only memory speed to 1066 and voltage to 2.1V but then timings by SPD it will POST but the timings are 6-5-5-43 2T. How do I get this memory to run correctly on this motherboard? Thanks.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted September 11, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted September 11, 2009 That MB only support DDR800 and DDR1066 when over clocked. 4 x240-pin DIMM, Max. 8 GB, DDR2 1066(O.C.)/800/667 Non-ECC,Un-buffered Memory I would try testing the modules one at a time and see if it will post but I think you may need a 1333 FSB CPU to run the memory at DDR1066.
