daleader Posted September 6, 2009 Share Posted September 6, 2009 I decided to turn the XMP on and get the full load of 1600 expereince that the amazing RAM offers me, however since doing it I noticed the RAM got much hotter. So I thought I think of getting that. The TR site is telling me that I have to have a RAM with a "...double sided memory module". I didnt want to open the heatsink provided by the Corsair so I dono if they are, can someone please help me thx. =-= PS: WOW wat an amazing feeling! It really does make a difference! What part # are you running right now, and is it one kit or 2 kits? haha omg my bad, I am using TR3X6G1600C8 and I was hoping to upgrade to TR3X6G1866C9DF in future, I was reading about it and that is probably why I have that in my title! I was wondering if I can use the following heatsink for my ram; Thermalright HR-07 TRIO-H High. Many thanks i advance PS: I only have only have one kit.
