eljosh.net
Hi everyone! I hope that you can help me. About few days ago i bought a corsair Memory 2GB 6400 (CM2X2048-6400C5 G), but before i was working with a Supertalent Memory PC 6400 (T8UB1GC5 1 GB 800 Mhz PC2-6400 128M x 64 64M x 8 5 N N Y 1.8V) I saw the spec, and watch that both memory handle different voltages (Corsair 1.9 and Supertalent 1.8) Now im working with Corsair Memory (1Gb more), but i want to use the other memory. When I turn on the pc with both memory, nothing happen. No post signal. Only black screen. Hope can help me (sorry my english is too bad) Cheers
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted September 3, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted September 3, 2009 Mixing memory is never a good idea and almost always hit and miss, but with 4 modules I would suggest setting the memory frequency manually to DDR667 and you might try and increase the NB/MCH/SPP Voltage by +.2 Volts as well.
