Special4ce
Ok i bought 2x2GB CM2X2048-6400C5 RAM Sticks a couple of months ago and i keep having blue screens and me pc reboots new. It stated since i have the new RAM Sticks on my motherboard. I used to have 2x1GB RAM Sticks in my pc. (MC2X1024-6400) And i did not have the bluescreen problem at that time. (Using them for now so i dont get anymore blue screens, hopefully) Here is some info about from my Event Viewer: Source: System Error Category: (102) Type: Error Event ID: 1003 Error code 1000008e, parameter1 c0000005, parameter2 bd0c8fc9, parameter3 b26f6104, parameter4 00000000. Does this problem have to do with my 2x2GB CM2X2048-6400C5 RAM Sticks? Is it my O.P.? Is it my mother board? How do i fix it?
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted September 2, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted September 2, 2009 Were you mixing the memory modules? I am sorry but you may not be able to mix them and when you change to the new modules you would need to load setup defaults and then set the tested settings manually. And I would disable Legacy USB and then test them with http://www.memtest.org.
