metamorphosis18
Are all CMFSSD-64N1 drives jMicron controllers, or do some use the Samsung controllers like the P128?
Wired
http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=78540 The 64 Gig Drives are not controller specific drives so we have not specified a controller that we use or will use as it will be subject to change at any time with out notice. metamorphosis18
I know they -can- be any controller, but he's stated that for the moment they're using jMicron's - yet on some sites selling them I see they note samsung controllers. Is there any way to find out from looking at the drive from the outside which controller it's using? Serial number or whatever?
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted September 1, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted September 1, 2009 What is the part number of the drive you are looking at? CMFSSD-64N1 uses JMicron and is no longer in production ATM so any drives being sold are JMicron.

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted September 8, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted September 8, 2009 The CMFSSD-64N1 that we have produced to date have all used Samsung Flash with the J-Micron Controller but if we produce more of this part it may or may not be the same configuration.
