Wired
Will there be a mechanical drawing of the Obsidian 800D available on the website?
PeterFazekas
Now why would someone need that?

Exalix
I also would to see one. I want to know the distance from top to the edge of motherboard. need to know if my GTX360 with fans on either side it, can fit there up there. the radiator fan sandwich is 104mm. Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted August 31, 2009 Corsair Employee Share Posted August 31, 2009 I suspect a mechanical drawing of the case will find its way to the site once the case is released, but I will have to check and make sure.
Mr_Armageddon
Now why would someone need that? If you have to ask, you probably haven't done much modding. Mechanical drawings are extremely useful when modding, especially with a product like the 800D. It nice to know exact demensions of every part, nook, and cranny before you start making modifications(even more so if cutting is involved). Plus, many "build" their mods in programs such as SketchUp or SolidWorks before ever perchasing the components, just to make sure everything will fit correctly and work the way they want it to. PeterFazekas
Bleh. Too much faffing about. Tape measure FTW. And no, you're wrong. I've had plenty of fun time with my Dremel.
LeMoN
I'm gonna bump this! reason is that I want to have exact measurments so I can make a digital design of what I want to do with my case :P However, I can't work with bloody sketchup!

LeMoN
Why would I bother making a new thread when this thread already exists? That just why I bumped it :)

NoQuarter
An expanded 2-point perspective drawing -with dimensions included- added to the *.QSGs (or manuals if included) for all series would be nice to see and helpful to more than a few.
