spennis
Hi. My Flash Voyager has been acting strange the last couple of times. Even though I have allot of things in it, Windows XP shows it as completely empty, and this is not just on my own computer. I reinstalled the drivers, and all of sudden I could see my files, but once i tried to open them the disappeared! Is this something I can fix by my self, or is it broken? I've only been using it a couple of times since i bought it earlier this year. Thanks in advance. Regards Isak

spennis
Is there anyway I can retrieve the lost files?
spennis
The RMA is kind of worthless since I myself must pay for the shipping, which is 1/3-1/2 the price of a new one. Do I, as a customer, have to pay even more when the product I bought suddenly stops to work?
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted August 28, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted August 28, 2009 We can replace the drive for you, however we do not offer any type of data recovery software or services. If the data is important then you may want to review the article here: http://www.corsair.com/_appnotes/AN803_CommonIssues_HelpfulTips_DLoss_DCorruption.pdf. for some data recovery advise. You may also want to check out websites such as http://www.download.com and http://www.softpedia.com and search for "USB Data Recovery," to see if you can find some freeware/shareware that may help you recover the data. If all else fails then you may need to contact a local data recovery service center to find out if the data is recoverable.
