breaker
Hi, I've been through this before with this product... so I know the drill. :) I have a TWINX2048-8500C5D set (matched pair of 1 Gbyte sticks DDR-II). I made sure I had "the latest Bios version and then load setup/optimized defaults and set the Dim Voltage to 2.1 volts (+.3 Volts W/Giga-Byte) and then set the timings manually to the tested settings for the specific module I have.." I began having system issues like freeze ups, etc, so I ran as a pair and each stick by itself (800MHz 5-5-5-15 @ 2.1V) using both Memtest 86+ 1.70 and Microsoft Windows Memory Diagnostic to test - lots of errors. I made sure legacy USB was disabled, still no good. I tried another motherboard slot, still no good. I tried different pair of 1Gbyte DDR2 on my mobo, and it works fine. I tried downgrading the BIOS, still NG. Please help me RMA this pair, thanks a bunch. :)
