AltairDusk
Hello, I'm looking to upgrade my XPS 700 to 4GB of ram but even though the system will support it the memory configurator will only show me 2GB options. However on Dell's site they pull up the TWIN2X4096-6400C5C as compatible with the XPS 700. Given the disparity between their configurator and the official Corsair one I wanted to verify that this memory will indeed work in my system. I've already returned one 2x2GB set that didn't work with my machine though those turned out to be the wrong speed. Thanks.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted August 25, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted August 25, 2009 Either set will run fine in that system, but you may not be able to mix them with the memory that came with your system.
AltairDusk
Thanks that's what I needed to know. I'm planning on completely replacing what's in there so it's all good on that front.
