clique
Hello all, I have CM2X1024-8500C5D modules running at stock speeds and voltages. My PC is set to hibernate after a certain peroid of being idle. Yesterday my PC would not wake from hibernation and I had to press the power button for the PC to start. Whilst Windows was resuming (I am currently testing Windows 7 RC) a BSOD appeared and the PC restarted. Trying to restart the PC and start Windows normally also resulted with a BSOD. Windows 7 has a startup repair utility and again resulted with a BSOD. Finally I tried to boot up XP Pro and that also refused to load with a BSOD. Taking out one of the memory modules, the PC runs fine, both Windows 7 and XP are running superb. Swapping modules results in BSODs just as the splash screen comes up. Running memtest with the "good" module results with no errors. I am unable to test the "bad" modules as I cannot boot into an OS with it. Is there anything else I can try? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
