Hi guys, I need som input om a problem.

Ive had a wierd problem since i upgraded to 4x2gb sticks. If i cut power (remove powercord to my PSU also a corsair 850watt by the way) and then insert it my computer will start up, and then shut down looping a BIOS error that i can not set clock freq. A1 i think its called.

Anyway I was wondering if this could be that my memories are not getting enough Volts? Ive set the recommeded as for the model but would I risk damaging them alot if i tried and increased it 0.1 volts?

Are you trying to run them at DDR1066?

If so please see what we posted previously about mixing two sets of Twins.

With 4 modules I would suggest setting the memory frequency at DDR667 or DDR800 and set the memory Voltage to 2.1 Volts and set the NB/MCH/SPP Voltage to +.2 Volts as well and test the system with http://www.memtest.org. In addition, with some MB's (Mostly ASUS) you have to disable legacy USB in the bios when running any memory test.
