ricardo mollik
Hi, I have a MSI P7N Diamond and i have installed one pairs of the above mentioned memory TWIN2X4096-8500C5DF Module. The thing is that i have yet to overclock but i cannot seem to get the modules to work at 5-5-5-12 at 2.1 volts. The memory settings of the bios are: SLI-READY memory= Expert Memory voltage: 2,1v and inside that i have set the following manually: CAS 5 TRCD 5 TRP 5 TRAS 15 CR 2T The modules work great but even with the above settings saved in the bios, when i check with CPU-Z i get CAS 5 TRCD 5 TRP 5 TRAS 18 CR 2T the pc will freeze on boot up, game load up or sometimes in game. Suggestions?
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted August 21, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted August 21, 2009 What are you looking at in CPU-Z? You should look at the memory Tab to see what they are actually running at!

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted August 22, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted August 22, 2009 All you should have to do is to enable SLI ready memory, but the CPU you have may be an issue, can you tell me the CPU you have and have you updated the MB BIOS? Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted August 24, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted August 24, 2009 If you set the memory frequency to DDR1066 and it is still showing as DDR800 in the memory tab I would suggest checking for the latest BIOS version and then set the tested settings manually.
