meatweasel
Hi, I'm getting random reboots with no bsod. There is no real pattern to it, does it at idle or under load. I suspect the HX1000 psu is failing but have no way to verify it. The event viewer shows a critical error ID 41 kernel-power etc. Memory has been tested with memtest and it's OK. It reboots at default clocks as well as overclocked. Has anyone come across something like this? Any help would be greatly appreciated :-)
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted August 21, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted August 21, 2009 Does it reboot in windows safemode? If it doesn't, then that would suggest a software issue.
meatweasel
Thanks for the reply, I'll let it run in safe mode overnight and see if it will reboot. One thing I forgot to mention was it has done this with vista 64bit as well as win 7. Most of the drivers were the same though.
