Hi , flash voyager mini 8gb has a issue in that every time I plug my drive in to my new computer it just hangs up windows explorer and does not load up?? I have tried all my usb ports, I also have uninstalled the drive, it is showing up in device manager. The drive works fine on my old xp computer usb 1.1? and works on my brother computer which is a dell with vista home basic>?

any help or solution will be great since I need to use my new computer for my finals coming up in school and hate to have to us my brother computer to transfer files back and forth threw are network.

I'm having the same exact problem with the same exact USB stick- Flash Voyager 8GB. Works on my XP-32bit laptop, but not my Windows 7 64 bit laptop. Device Manager recognizes it, says the driver is installed and everything, but it doesn't show up in My Computer. I tried relabeling the drive name, but it wouldn't let me.

In this case it seems this might be an issue with the OS. If the drive works fine with others systems then it looks like the drive functions correctly. I would try to reformat the drive in NTFS ans see if this corrects the issue.

No dice. I tried a different USB (Toshiba TransMemory 4 GB) and it worked on my 64 bit Windows 7 though. The problem seems to be a combination of the Corsair Flash Voyager and Windows 7 64 bit.

I want to test it on a different size Flash Voyager...gotta find it.

Any other ideas?
