Aphesia
Hi, I installed 2 pairs of this Ram on my P45 NEO 2 FR, but my system detect only 6go. I test all memory on all slot and that's the same problem. I am a real noob with my Bios. I just put Voltage of my Ram to 2.1V. I don't know what is the NB/MCH/SPP to configure +.2v and where to find its in bios. To lower frequency to 667, it s the same. I don't know to do that. (I saw that in previous topics) Have you got an idea? Sorry for my english, it's too poor.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted August 19, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted August 19, 2009 With 4 modules I would suggest setting the memory frequency at DDR667 and set the memory Voltage to 2.1 Volts and set the NB/MCH/SPP Voltage to +.2 Volts as well and test the system with http://www.memtest.org. In addition, with some MB's (Mostly ASUS) you have to disable legacy USB in the bios when running any memory test. And NB = North Bridge, MCH = Memory Controller Hub, SPP = System Platform Processor, depending on the chipset the setting may be any one of these or a combination of the above IE NB MCH Intel or NB SPP for Nvidia.
