Flash Voyager CMFUSB2.0-16GB doesn't connects

I have this perfect Flash Voyager CMFUSB2.0-16GB for about 2 years. It helped me alot, but suddenly it failed. I connect it to my laptop and it won't detect, even won't blink it's blue led to tell me it got power. Visually there are no signs of troubles. I bought it from Ukrainian reseller and it gave me 1 year warranty, but the packing and info on corsair.com says that it should have 10 years warranty. Can I get some help on that ?

We can replace the drive for you, however we do not offer any type of data recovery software or services. If the data is important then you may want to review the article here: http://www.corsair.com/_appnotes/AN803_CommonIssues_HelpfulTips_DLoss_DCorruption.pdf. for some data recovery advise. You may also want to check out websites such as http://www.download.com and http://www.softpedia.com and search for "USB Data Recovery," to see if you can find some freeware/shareware that may help you recover the data. If all else fails then you may need to contact a local data recovery service center to find out if the data is recoverable.

Let's get it replaced, please use the On Line RMA Request Form and we will be happy to replace it. Be sure to check the box that says “I've already spoken to Technical Support and/or RAM Guy.”

I have the same issue. My Flash Voyager stopped working last night and I've tried it on 3 different Vista machines and one running XP. No light or anything. I've tried a couple of data recovery software packages but they can't detect a drive, even though Vista has assigned it a drive letter.

So my question is, if I sent my drive to a local data recovery service center and they disassemble, cause I still return the drive to Corsair? I'd really like to have the data on the drive and have a functioning drive. Thanks.
