Side-Ways
Hi I have an Asus P5N32-E Sli Plus which had 2x1GB Corsair CM2X1024-6400C4 running PREFECTLY. I've decided to put another 2x1GB Corsair CM2X1024-6400C4 and now I'm getting BSoD during boot up in bios and BIOS freezing. If done little bit of research and looks like Asus stuffed up somewhere, would you be able to help me out with this problem? I haven't played around with any of the RAM setting/config till i here your advice on this. I would like to have these RAM running at full 800MHz with original timing 4-4-4-12 or even better. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted August 18, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted August 18, 2009 With 4 modules I would suggest setting the memory frequency at DDR667 and set the memory Voltage to 2.1 Volts and set the NB/MCH/SPP Voltage to +.2 Volts as well and test the system with http://www.memtest.org. In addition, with some MB's (Mostly ASUS) you have to disable legacy USB in the bios when running any memory test.
WoodyJc
Hi Side-Ways Ive run into the exact same problem, just bought an extra 2gb and getting the bsod's and freezing issue's (same mb and memory as yourself). Just wondering if the advice above worked or if you finally got it stable some other way. Thanks In Advance Woody
