Tecnici
Hi, it's my first post here. Sorry for my bad english, i'm italian. I've buyed two cmx512re-3200llpt modules for my Asus K8V SE Deluxe, but they don't work. Now I know that is because the mb don't support registered memory. Can anyone tell me where can i find a list of compatible motherboard for that memory modules? Thanks in advance
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted April 27, 2004 Corsair Employees Share Posted April 27, 2004 ASUS SK8V or SK8N. These modules are made for AMD64 FX CPU's! For the MB you have K8V you would need CMX512-3200LL or Twinx1024-3200LL with no "R" or "RE" in the part#!

CandyKid
In a more general sense, usually only server motherboards support that memory. I.E.: Opteron, Athlon 64 FX, XEON, SUN64, etc type systems. Most home-user platforms don't support registered or ECC memory. PLUR CK
