l102212
Hi, I had a loose connector on my first Voyager 4GB. I requested an RMA and had to send my drive to the repair center. Yesterday I received a package containing a new Voyager 4GB  . The write speed however is only 4MB/s (tested with HDBench) and I believe a lot lower than the one I send in. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted August 12, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted August 12, 2009 Please try and format the drive with the Format utility from the SD-CARD Organization. Then run the test again and see if that helps. The write should be about 5MBps on that drive and if you had a drive that was more than a year old it would have been faster then the current drives. l102212
Ok, the write-speed is now 5MB/s so that's just as it should be. But you're actually saying that the speeds of your flash-drives have decreased?
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted August 14, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted August 14, 2009 Yes they have as the technology moved to higher density flash the speed has fallen, sorry!
