sprayingmango
I recently purchased 12GB of DDR3 Dominator 1600 memory (2x 6GB kits) from an online retailer. Specifically, the TR3X6G1600C8D modules. I was under the impression that I would recieve the v2.2 modules with DHX+, however, they sent me two older kits with ver2.1 written on them. Is it possible for me to exchange these modules with Corsair for the Ver2.2 modules?? Thanks!!!
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted August 11, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted August 11, 2009 There is no difference any Version 2.X module will be the same memory IC and the version numbers do not correlate to new or old.
Wired
Also, ALL of the triple stick kits are DHX+. The + not being in the datasheet is a typo I think. Easiest way to tell is that the DHX+ have the screws on the top of the modules. http://www.corsair.com/_datasheets/TR3X3G1600C8D.pdf
