ShadowCat8
Greetings, Helping a friend run down an issue, and at first blush, everything looks like it should work. The timing and specs for the TWIN2X2048-6400 matches the specs Intel put out for the board. Only thing that gives me cause for pause is from the Corsair pdf for that memory which specifically states that it was "Tested at 5-5-5-18 latency settings at 1.9V" where Intel's Integrator's documentation states "1.8V (only) DDR2 SDRAM DIMMS..." So, is the TWIN2X2048-6400 capable of running effectively at 1.8V? (NOTE: This is the basic -6400, and not the -6400C4, -6400C5 or -6400C5C.) Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted August 11, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted August 11, 2009 The part number TWIN2X2048-6400 would be rated at DDR800 at 1.9 Volts and may not be compatible with that MB, but the Voltage will be printed on the modules, but they may run just fine at default settings just test with http://www.memtest.org. If you have problems I would see if they can get Twin2x2048/4096-6400C5DHX as they will be rated at DDR800 1.8 Volts.
